DTZ McCombe Pierce recently secured the sale of the former Methodist church in South Belfast to well known pub chain JD Wetherspoon Plc.
The sale of the 9,260 square ft listed property attracted a significant amount of interest from potential purchasers for a variety of different projects but it was the pub chain that eventually sealed the deal.
Speaking about the sale, Mark McCaul from DTZ McCombe Pierce said, “This property attracted a great deal of interest not only due to its prominent location in South Belfast and proximity to Queens University but also its unique character. This landmark building with plenty of potential, represents a great opportunity for JD Wetherspoons, as they continue their expansion in Northern Ireland.”
