DTZ McCombe Pierce has been advising Glasgow-based fashion chain, Quiz, on their major retail push within the Irish market. The fashion retailer employs 1300 staff across nearly 300 stores, concessions and franchises in the UK and overseas and is one of Scotland's fasting growing companies.
Despite tough conditions on the high street, last year Quiz opened no fewer that 45 new stores world wide. In Ireland, Quiz has recently opened 3 new stores and, working with DTZ McCombe Pierce, the fashion retailer is actively seeking out new locations for further expansion both North and South of the border.
Amongst the first wave of expansion was the arrival of Quiz at the Ilac Shopping Centre located just off Henry Street in Dublin. With anchor tenants including Debenhams, TK Maxx, Dunnes Stores and well know names such as Starbucks and Boots, the Ilac Shopping Centre is a prime location for the 2517 sq ft store. Quiz also opened a second store within the Liffey Valley shopping Centre where Marks & Spencer, Coast, Sketchers and Tommy Hilfiger are amongst the core tenants. The third Quiz store has been located in West of Dublin within the Blanchardstown Centre where the retailer has taken a 2600 sq ft unit alongside Debenhams, Zara and Top Shop.
